Self care isn't just drinking water and going to sleep early.  Self care is taking a break when things become overwhelming, saying no to things that you do not want to do, allowing yourself to cry, asking for help from those around you, doing things that make you happy.​

That is accurately correct! Sometimes, self-care has something to do within ourselves. It is not always about being healthy when it comes to our physical well-being. Rather, it is sometimes about taking care of our mind and soul. If you wake up and feel like you do not have the energy to deal with the tasks you are faced with, then go ahead and take the day off. Go for a walk. Spend some time gathering your thoughts. Open up to a friend about what you are feeling. You can even cry if you feel like it. These are some of the ways you can take care of yourself. Whatever your method is, do it as long as it benefits your mental health.
